Yeah, but does it really work?

I'm ready to do this very thing...the Dell System Software (which I normally install ONLY on business machines) screwed up USB support majorly.

used it last night ,my amd 1.2 ghz rig would not let defrag run for some odd reason ..it was rather quirky lately

worked perfect .. system even boots quicker ! :)

yea i was a boob and always tried the first windows repair screen , the one that supposedly brings up the recovery console .. never worked ..

but this worked welll and was faster then reformatting and reinstalling all my stuff

I am very familiar with the process, don't know if I mentioned it to you LT.

It's always worked well for machines I work on, but for my own I give them the full douche. :blink:

A corrupt OS can screw you over in these cases.


Nice story though....perhaps you should retire with a nice severance package and write children's books. ;)
