I can think of a lot worse things.
OS - Linux and Windows - may as well heap them together since they both have their major downsides
Languages - Cobal, Delphi, Fortran, QuickBasic - C is a shining knight compared to these blokes
Apps - M$ anything, Norton anything (except Commander what a great program), McAfee - anything
Games - Very few games today really shine through IMO so lets just stick everyone here.

What are the major downsides of Linux?
Yeah, but nobody wrote an OS in Cobol,Delphi, Fortran, or Quickbasic...
Norton wasn't that bad... lol
I don't see how you can say that all games suck...
That's it! I'm going back to my shuttle, get my other phaser, and shoot all your a$$es... - A scene from "Vulcans Can't Jump"

With regards to games, I think LT means overall quality....game quality at release has gone downhill bigtime. Yeah, I know, with the plethora of possible system combinations because peeps are building their own you'll always have issues, but I would point to EA....look at the crapware they shovel at us all time, burning out their employees while gouging us for more dollars. Bleh. In EA's case, it's sad....they used to be a highly respected company because of the quality of their products.
