Final is in June, be patient

LOL.

4 of my bosses have iPhones now. So when I asked if one of them would sponsor me for the beta they all jumped at the idea. Since I'm in a enterprise organization now the more testing the better.

I have pocket guitar and iAno on mine. Dont play either but have them for the fun of it. The use of the interface and accelerometers is going to make games/toys really usable on the iPhone!

i have had time to install these

NES emu - havent d/l any roms, where do i get those?

Summerboard- runs but cant get it to change themes

I check the forums over at hackintosh and macrumors.com.

I never use installer over anything other than Wifi.

Get iBlackjack, Chess, Tris (Tetris), sendsong (email any mp3 out of your collection), Pool etc etc

Knowing you are a bejeweled fan you are going to want "izoo" with the Bejeweled skin also. Dont forget finder for browsing the file directory and VT100 for getting a bash prompt ;)

well i lost my speaker after loading some screwed up app, dont know which one, and had to reset the phone

couldnt find finder, i blackjack is now shareware, thanks for the tetris and sendsong, it rocks, also couldnt find vt100

i would like to be able to control the phone from command prompt and see file structure with some sort of finder

i am looking at setting up openSSH for transferring files

also, rumor is apple is abandoning yahoo push. my email quit working this week and many others have lost theirs too

found a great free service for restoring imap or pop emails, and set up my hotmail and yahoo on it

Install the Open BDS subsystem and various fixes and open SSH. You should be able to instal VT100 with this. That will give you command line access to the iPhone from the iPhone itself. Open SSH obviously allows you remote access to the device.

3GGGgggggg, Exchange Support, and GPS!!! wooo .... sigh but $10/month more so the cost savings on the phone is quickly offset by the increased price.

now i can finally get one when they release a 32 gig version. There was not mention of an upgraded camera. Anyone know anymore details on this?

Phone costs half what it did when I bought the version1 though!

No regrets at all though, it is a pleasure to use. Already registered with O2 in the UK for the new version :)

Once you have the ability to hit the web anytime, you'll use it more, though not much more. My Mogul's been handy for checking references, quick work e-mail checks and movie schedules on the fly. Not to mention looking up phone numbers...that alone pays for it. Speaking of which...I assume the iPhone can do this?...if I Google a phone number, I can highlight the number, and press the Talk button to call it. Damned handy when you're on the run.

the iphone can do this coupled with all of the actually useful apps coming out. this is turning into quite the device.

My wife's bugging me for one, only 'cos she works at a store selling Macs/iPods/iPhones (she wanted me to buy a Macbook Air NOW so she could get the free iPhone....capitalism at its finest! :D). Are iPhones still restricted to AT&T service? I'd sooner Disco with a starving horde of piranhas than enjoy AT&T service.
