The user goes to an email and the preview pane shows the "images blocked - right click to view" so user does that, still being in the preview pane. User then opens that email and the images have gone back to "imaged borked - right dick to spew". I cannot recreate this on my machine, every other keeps the pictures loaded when opening the email. I have been searching for a bit for an answer and thought I'd throw this in the man pile.
Any ideas why the pics aren't following?

After tugging, in tears, at the goat for what seemed to be forever, he finally got it to abandon his plans to be Alpha Goat of the children's section. The goat, probably now feeling slightly emasculated by a crying ten year old, decided to leave tons (tons.) of cute little pellets all over the floor. He must have been part shotgun, as the spread was amazing.

i believe that the "right click to view" is a temporary thing, allows you to view the pictures NOW and will reset to default setting upon opening or closing of an e-mail
the other option i believe is "always allow images from"
or just change the image view settings in options "security" "Automatic download Settings" and set up a white list or just enable all

Was just working on it and actually saw what it was doing. At the email, if double clicked to open, then right click to download images, they will not come up. What she has to do is right click on the email in the preview pane THEN open the email with the loaded images. It's an extra step that shouldn't even exist since every other machine can just right click in the actual opened email without touching the preview pane.
What I've done so far is clear the temp folder for outlook and compared all her settings to another. No dice, still happens. Just found that it's vista she's on as well but that "shouldn't" have any affect.
I'll probably let her know that the allow safe domain thing is there, but being the vice president of this place I'm not sure she will be ok with having to do that, or if she wants any pics autodownloaded at all. She also said nay to reinstall.
