Bought one from Best Buy last Fall to use at home ($70 for a 320Gb USB drive)...used it about 7 times. 8th time the power croaks. I'm 100% sure the drive's fine, just no go.
While checking on warranty, I did some digging online plus reviews at Newegg/Amazon, and apparently these drives are notorious for crapping out.
I'm not worried, it's a business expense, and the drive should be good. New Media Server drive! Whee!
FYI: The drive is SATA, not IDE/ATA.
