True, compared to the PS1 and the old DFI stuff, they were gold. Guess you have to have a point of reference.

Packard Bell p 200 for sale
uses EDO ram and filled to the gills with it
wopping 96 meg ..win 95 pre installed !
i'll have to rip it apart to give ya full system specs .. + i may have 128 meg of old EDO to upgrade it !
it has QUAD SPEED CD ROM!
dont fill up my e mail box too much we only have one for sale !
and it's goin fast ..
...to the dumpster ...
drivers are installed .. but .. dont look to upgrade any of em .. cause ya cant !
but it does play duke 3d quite well as well as diablo 1 and doom ,and castle wolfenstein

also that site just means .....THE packard bell name was sold again ..to a new company which may have better support

I think we are safe guys. If you look at the site it seems you don't have the option to select Uniter States as a option for the products or for a dealer. Let the europeans have the Packard Bells. Maybe we outlawed them.

I'd almost say that's a bad thing, but Commodore reigned supreme (and not by chance) in Europe for the longest time, while we shoveled money into IBM's pockets. May have to rethink this...
