yea the cool thing is it makes any laptop harddisk a huge ass flash drive ..plus i plugged in an old IDE IOMEGA zip drive and it worked so i could read files off my old zip disks !
(i did have to use the supplied power cable tho)

with laptop harddisks no external power is needed... i have a 40 gig IDE i use all the time for customer data backups

used it to plug in a dvd burner to my buddies computer that does not have a dvd drive and was able to install a dvd game for him

to use a regular harddisk/cd/dvd drives ya have to plug in the power cord that it comes with .. so yea you could use this this to run any old harddrive or cd /dvd as a external drive
if ya see someone in need of help .. help em so ya can frag em later :) Posted Image
