You sure you're not thinking of the old completely passive cooling system that sold a few years back? This is brand-spanking new. The old one (damned if I can find a name for it) wasn't modular...just had a huge grill on the side, similar idea.

I like the modular part tho'...they sell add-on/replacement modules so you can add whatever wherever. This is turning the whole case world around...I'm all for it. Tired of the same old case with fancier plastic on the outside. Yippee. Gimme something fresh!

no i saw it at the computer show here ..and yes it may have been the old one .. but it was still for sale ..

looked the same and supported both air and oil as well as just plain water cooling ..so it may be new to you guys out there..but yes i have seen that case in use

i still chose the air solution with a great cooler ..and air filled case http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835154001
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811133074

which i do belie has givin me as well as every system i have built on that case and heat sink ...the best possible solution

nothing beats 120 mm fans ..and 230 mm fans ..well ..ROCK ..especially quiet ones :)

and yes the tuniq CPU cooler is updated for 2010 ..if you never tried one ..get one ..best $50 you'll ever spend ..if your case is deep enough

and as to cooling , just upgraded my nephew to a 3.8 p4 670 prescott

he hits max about 45 C in games .. idle temps around 38C

think about that ..fastest hottest CPU ever made ..and it runs flawless under that cooler ..and that same case.. the v9 black edition

Man, I've been living in a cave! :D

Naw, I haven't been keeping up. Newegg and a few rags made a big deal of it last month, so I figured it was new.

I do remember the old case, the one that had the huge grill on one side, similar to this, but no modular anything. The fanless system.

Nice build tho'!
