i have a HP 2500c printer

before windows xp the printer runs great . . since the xp transition

THE DRIVERS SUCK

i have to keep the print server running win98 just to keep the damn thing running :evil: :evil:

anybody used this printer with xp?

Sorry. Nope. I do remember a certain HP printer that xp recognized incorrectly tho. Had to force the correct drivers at it. Forget which one.

HP wants you to upgrade their printers. I called them on this.

I have two Hp's the 722 and a PSC500 both have limited functionality under XP. I would suggest not to buy an HP.

You are better off buying a Brother laser printer and a Epson inkjet printer.
If I cared I would have put a bullet in your head long ago.

so what would you recommend RR?

i need a printer that can handle 13x19

multiple paper trays

good for pre-production proofs

and does not cost a fortune

Epson is the king of inkjet get the 1280. If you got lots of cash 2200.

they have 7 pens and take rolls, print edge to edge and are archival quality printers.
If I cared I would have put a bullet in your head long ago.
