you guys know anything about this board. i'm getting ready to build a new system and need some god AMD MB recomendations.

if this asus is good let me know plus if you have any other suggestions let me know.

I liked my A7V-133
I really like my Shuttle AK31

they are both 133fsb boards, the shuttle is ddr

I'm assuming you want the 8X AGP?? I know nothing then.

I really liked my A7v-133 as well, but I love my Soyo Dragon

check out the nforce2's techno, they support dual channel

thats what my next amd mobo would be

thanks RR thats the board I am getting

ok . .another question

on the file server i am building i plan to run a RAID 5 configuration with 4 WD 80GB special ed. 8 MB drives

i plan to put the new rig in a supermicro server chassis with the 400w redundant power supply.

is this enough power to run the raid array + 1 hard drive that will operate the O/S + CD Rom etc.?

that should be ok

most our 6 drive servers run 450.

you can never have too big a PS, never hurts to have some extra wattage on tap :wink:
