I just got an Asus Ti4200. Its a V9280TD.
Default Clock is Engine 250, Memory 500.
It has an overclocker util that will let me go 280 engine and 600 memory.
Is it pretty common to overclock these guys without any problems?
I have run all night with it overclocked and haven't had a problem? I played UT2003 at 1024x1280 with all the setting up to the max with no problems.
Just wondering.

the only time you'll have a problem is when you go too high, and you will know because you will get screen craziness, but then just reboot and back down the OC a notch
i dont know how ASUS' OC utility works, but when i OC with nvidia's i never check 'apply settings at startup' until i have run the card quite a bit and done some benchmarks and am sure its stable because you'll be in deep hassle poopy if you have it apply OC settings at startup and it locks from too high an OC
ive never burned up a vidcard by OCing or going too high
yet, lol
so you should be fine running at that setting, those OC clock settings are not that extreme and it sounds like they are stable, you should be fine.
