Under the hood of my Rig I am running
ECS K7S5A Mother Board w/sis 735 chipset
Xtascy GeForce2 32meg.
AMD Duron 1.2 Ghtz.
60 gig. Western Digital.
When I try to set up MOHAA to run under full graphics acceleration, and run under 1024x768 res. It starts becoming sketchy and slow. but when i go back down to 800x600 its fine. I have downloaded the new drivers from Nvidia. So i want to know if you all can help me with setting up my settings right to do that. cause the same thing happens in game's like UT2k3, NOLF2 , etc. but it works fine for Half Life and all other HL Mod's

I dont think my mom would let me upgrade my cpu. She may but i would have to do alot of begging and buy it with my own money. i would have to see. cause i just got thi thing working about six months ago. my mem was screwed up. MY NICE BROTHER GAVE ME 256MEG OF MEM AND THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM. BUT I HAVE TOO SEE. BUT THE CARD I JUST HAVE TO TELL HER THAT I AM GONNA BUY IT.

I will make and host Avatars and Sigs for you. Email me or pm me.

a 512 meg dimm can be had for well under $75
tho dunno if your motherboard will use 512 meg dimms ..some max out at 256 meg dimms ..and 768 meg of ram
but yea go athalon at least ..and if your main board has a duron chip in it it'll support some type of faster athalon cpu
i'd do cpu first ..an add ram ..

and if your on a budget .. buy a new vid card useing at least the radeon 8500 64 meg version ..or wait since when the new nvidia chip comes out .. the geforce 3's will be dirt cheap
and ya cant snuff your nose at a geforce 3 they werver much better then any mx series card i ever tryed
but steer clear of the geforce 4 mx series
they are about as fast as a good geforce 2 gts ..plus they will lack vertex and pixtel shaders
and hence they are considered a direct x 7 part
the geforce 4 ti series has vertex and pixtel shaders in hardware as do the ati 8500 and beyond since they are direct x 8 parts (in otherwords the gpu handels those commands in hardware ..rather then software )
