I give it 14 days before there is a way around it :)
Probably not even that long, for a easy to use fix.
I never O/C vid cards other than for benching when i first get it anyway, they die much easier than any cpu.

apparently there is a hacked bios you can use to OC

im sorry, but i draw the line at using a hacked bios

yeah, right, i got enough pcb coasters laying around

As pointed out by Hammer to me (thanks I never knew this until then) my only OC'ing on vid cards is done by upping my FSB slightly on the CPU.

I am unable to up the fsb now since going to the 9700pro. Won't let me disable spread spectrum. If I do, and up the fsb even 1 mhz the damn thing locks or reboots everytime trying to run 3dmark or any game.
