For some reason twice it has been Counter-Strike retail. Once I left my computer idle for about an half an hour then when i moved the mouse out of webshots screensaver.

start with disabling webshots for about 2 weeks...
also check to see if suspend or sleep mode is enabled...if so.. turn those things off... if your going to leave the monitor for a while, just shut it off...
next.. look down in the lower right hand corner by your system clock..
I have two icons there... the windows volume control and the zone alarm icon and thats it... if you have a lot down there clear out your start folder...their really is no need to have anything running down there, well zone alarm is my firewall so.. thats ok...
screen savers are really unnecesary anymore... you really dont have to worry about burn in anymore...
try those out.. and if you want you can let me know whats running and I can go from there...
what OS are you running also?
