Slight monitor issue

Since my new GF4 I can sometimes see the VBI lines running through my monitor. Doesn't seem to vary at all based on the scan rate either. It is much more noticable when the screen is totally black. I can plug my monitor on to my sons system and this doesn't happen at all with his GF256.
So is there some setting in my BIOS on the new video card that can correct this? Anyone have an idea what's going on?

Umm what you can do is goto nview settings. right click on background properties, settings, advance then you shold see your gforce as one of the selections. when you select it it should have (when you have the newest drivers for nview the selections should pop out of the side) then try and go play around with those in there. Goto nview and then fool around there. that is what i found out for things like my tint problem i was able to brighten my monitor more.

I will make and host Avatars and Sigs for you. Email me or pm me.

Thanks Xlax, but sadly I have already tried many items in there. Probably not everything, but I was hoping someone may have an idea of what's going on here. Normally I would think it's just a monitor going bad, but knowing this doesn't happen (now on two other systems) I'm thinking something is set not quite right. BIOS, voltage, something????

Ah the voice of reason has spoken!!!!
I did make some changes to that card. I forgot all about doing that. And if memory serves correct, that's about when this started.
