I don't know about that exact model, but my wife got me a logitech wireless opticle mouse similiar, except it uses batteries instead of a recharge base.
It sucked for gaming. The response was either to sensative or delayed. It skipped if the mouse was moved fast.
I ended up giving it to my wife and going back to using my old corded opticle mouse.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, riddle them with bullets

The bonus with the mx700 is that it has a recharger, which doubles as the receiver (i think), so you never need batteries.
If it is as good as people say, i would be interested in one.
The claim is that within a 2 metre range, the signal strength is equivalent to just using a USB cable, so no delay, or mouse lag.
Might take a look at one from somewhere i know i can take it back lol!

There is one thing that concerns me though.
On the logitech website is this mx 700 info
"ALMOST".
Not "the same as" .
I dont trust that to be honest, and while some people may not notice a slight difference, i know i would.Im very fussy about things like that.
more info here http://www.logitech....&contentID=6076
It looks very nice, but if any i would pick the mx500, which is the exact same mouse, only wired.

Your cordless mouse responds now almost as fast as a corded model.

Originally I returned my Bluetooth for a MX700. For me the MX did not work as well. I was intrigued by the rechargable feature and that works as advertised. My problem was I don't have much room near my gaming machine and I could not place the receiver at the recommended distance from my monitor.
Result: Some lag and drifting while playing games... = DEAD OFTEN! Bubba has one and doesn't have those problems.
The Bluetooth does not have the same problem so I reordered one. It does kickass, but it cost $90 if you can find one.
For the price I'd grab the MX, although I like the "explorer feel" of the Bluetooth.
